Summary

Brandon lost the love of his life, Roxbury, years ago. Their love was platonic, of course, no matter their secret dreams, because having a huge crush on another Alpha? No way. Alpha males did not get crushes or fall madly in love with other Alpha males.

Roxbury is forced by his father to join the navy, and his ship is attacked by pirates—when the cannon smoke clears, and Roxbury is missing and presumed lost at sea—Brandon wants to die too.
