Summary

Strong and beautiful centaur Huntress Brighid struggled for years under her family’s restrictive ideals and the oppressive, tyrannical rule of her mother, the clan’s High Shaman. Choosing to blaze her own path in life instead of follow her kinfolk, Brighid leaves the Centaur Plains and finds a new home and a loving family among the walls of MacCallan Castle.

But as Brighid sets out on a journey to guide the grief-stricken warrior Cuchulainn back home from the Wastelands, she realizes her former life isn’t so easily left behind. As the magic within her stirs and the call of the Otherworld urges her to heal the handsome warrior, Brighid must learn to accept the powerful gifts that the great Goddess Epona has given her—and the forbidden love that begins to grow for Cuchulainn.
