Summary

From the author of the bestsellers Dark Harbor and The Betrayed comes a suspenseful novel full of surprising twists and unexpected turns.

Boston attorney Scott Finn has seen the dark side of prestigious law firms, and he’s moving on. With that life behind him, he embarks on a solo practice that involves civil litigation, divorce law, and criminal defense. Then a huge case falls into his lap. When a policewoman left for dead survives her attack, she fingers an El Salvadoran immigrant as the culprit. The pieces seem to fit, since the suspect has ties to a powerful South American gang. But as Finn investigates, the evidence doesn’t add up, and he must put his own life on the line to save an innocent man.

Innocence is a captivating legal thriller that showcases author David Hosp—himself a prominent attorney—at the top of his game.
