Summary

All Dominguita Melendez wants to do is read. Her favorite books are classics, which she read with her abuela every night before she moved away. One story, Don Quijote, tells of a brave knight-errant who does good deeds. Dominguita decides she, too, will become a knight and do good deeds around her neighborhood. But when the class bully tells her girls can’t be knights, Dominguita is determined to prove him wrong! With the help of some unexpected friends and one adorable hound, can Dominguita make new adventures to tell Abuela about—and show everyone what she’s made of?
