Author Bio: Tim Johnston
Tim Johnston is the author of the novels Descent, The Current, Distant Sons, the young adult novel Never So Green, and the story collection Irish Girl, which won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize in Short Fiction. He is the recipient of the 2015 Iowa Author Award. He holds degrees from the University of Iowa and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
