Summary

Little Women, closely based on Louisa May Alcott’s own experience of family life, was first published in 1869 and follows the lives of the four March sisters and their mother, “Marmee.”

This story has never lost its extraordinary power to move and delight, with the humorous adventures of tomboyish Jo, the heartrending story of gentle Beth, Meg’s vain attempts to cut a fashionable figure in society, and the artistic ambitions of the youngest sister Amy.

Enjoy this unabridged story anew, as narrated by Laurel Lefkow, who has won six AudioFile Earphones Awards for her narrations.
