Summary

Spring has sprung in Jackson City, New York and there are more than just flowers popping up from the ground. Autopsy coordinator, Corey Curtis, experiences her first exhumation autopsy when a cause of death, previously reported as natural, is called into question.

Meanwhile, her girlfriend, Dr. Thayer Reynolds, is spending time with a new friend—about whom Corey has long-standing suspicions—who may be a person of interest in the well-known man's untimely demise. Corey's involvement in the investigation leads to inevitable shenanigans, and ultimately ends with her and Thayer on a low-speed, but no less high-stakes, chase through a cemetery with a thrilling and unexpected finish.

Grave Gifts is the fourth Curtis and Reynolds mystery where, by the end, more than graveyard dirt is dug up.
