Summary

When a drug cartel gives Dallas defense lawyer Cash McCahill an ultimatum, he must make the choice to betray his client or face death.

After a cartel places a bounty on the head of Dallas criminal lawyer Cash McCahill, he hides in plain sight by hiring a surgeon to give him a new face and stealing the identity of a dead Buffalo cop twenty years his senior.

Only two people know his secret: the surgeon who gave him a new face and Tina Campos, a trans woman who introduced Cash to the surgeon and also works as a paralegal in Cash's law firm.

Burrowed deep underground, Cash remains safe and secluded until a serial killer stalks and kills several trans women. The victims all have links to Tina, and the killer is closing in on her. Forced to abandon his cover to protect Tina and her vulnerable community, Cash faces not one but two deadly threats.
