Summary

“A character study at its most heartfelt.” —Chloe Gong, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Immortal Longings

In this captivating and speculative adult debut, estranged twin sisters are thrown back together after a birthday wish triggers a journey across the multiverse.

Seven years after a devastating fight led to their estrangement, twin sisters Astoria and Grace make identical birthday wishes—and unexpectedly reunite in the multiverse.

Grace aches for a universe where her parents accept her as she is, while Astoria hopes to find one where her first love finally chooses her back. In order for both of their wishes to come true, they must work together.

As the twins reconnect, the pain of their shared childhood looms over them. Confronting the past could ruin their progress and strand them in the multiverse—but avoiding it might lead to losing each other all over again.

A poignant adult debut about sisterhood, healing your inner child, and finding love in the mirror.
