Summary

Summary

Joe Goodey is a cop's cop, as tough as they come. His beat is the City by the Bay. At least, it is until that fatal night when he accidentally guns down a relative of the mayor. Right away, he isn't a cop anymore, just a private eye. Curiously, his first customer happens to be the mayor. There's a lot of funny stuff going on out there in the San Francisco night but Goodey's not going to find much of it to laugh at until he grabs himself a killer.
