Summary

Bad luck is worse than a plague in Wrencliff Hollow and Vivian Locksmeade has had her fair share. The loss of her parents and an epic heartbreak have the townsfolk convinced she is a contagion of misfortune. Little do they know that not only is she a witch and a seductress, but a victim of a curse: one that forces her to kill the men she loves against her will.

Vivian has learned not to let her feelings go that far anymore, and instead keeps herself satisfied with a string of affairs. At least so she thought. When one such paramour is found dead, however, Vivian fears her curse is getting stronger.
