Summary

Taking online shortcuts lands Norm’s friend Jordan in hot water in this third book in the New Norm middle grade series about surviving the cringe and chaos of middle school both online and IRL.

Norm’s friend Jordan is embarrassed by his clunky, outdated phone that can’t hold a charge, but his family can’t afford to buy him a new one. So Norm and Mia decide to help Jordan raise enough money to buy a new phone for himself.

But Jordan is too busy to babysit, too allergic to pet-sit, and too bad of a baker to run a bake sale. How else can he earn money? Then Jordan has a genius idea: build a bot and sell extra likes on internet posts.

Jordan’s scheme works for a while…until the class gossip threatens to expose him. Norm has to act fast to save his friend from online infamy!
