I've spent the last seventeen years believing my mother was dead. Turns out, she's actually a prisoner in the elemental plane, trapped by a faerie bargain gone wrong.

All I want is to save her, but there's a new preternatural monster on the scene. It destroys the memories of anyone it touches before vanishing without a trace. As the new leader of the Soldiers, hunting it down should be my focus.

But, between wrangling angry werewolves, negotiating vampire politics, and trying to persuade my new packmates to give up their ancient vendetta against cartomancers, I already feel pulled in a million different directions.
