Author Bio: Charles E. Gannon
Charles E. Gannon is the author of science fiction and fantasy novels in numerous series, including the Caine Riordan novels, which have won the Compton Crook Award and been nominated for the Nebula Award. He is the coauthor with Eric Flint of 1636: The Papal Stakes and 1636: Commander Cantrell in the West Indies in the bestselling Ring of Fire series and coauthor with others of many other titles. He is a former professor and a member of SIGMA, the “SF think-tank,” which has advised various intelligence and defense agencies since the start of the millennium.
Author Bio: Griffin Barber
Griffin Barber spent his youth in four different countries, learning three languages while holding down jobs in marinas, bars, cafés, and, memorably, cold-calling casino guests. Finally settled in Northern California with a day job as a police officer in a major metropolitan department, he lives the good life with his wife and daughter. 1636: Mission to the Mughals, coauthored with Eric Flint, was his first novel; he has also written numerous short stories. Second Chance Angel is what he hopes to be the first of many collaborations with Kacey Ezell.

Mike Massa has lived an adventurous life including stints as a university researcher, a tech entrepreneur, an investment banker and a US Navy officer. In addition to the military deployments, he has lived outside the US for several years as a civilian, mostly in South America and Europe. Mike is married and enjoys the challenges of three sons and a growing cohort of grandsons all of whom check daily to see if today is the day they can pull down the old lion.
