Summary

Before us lies a harsh and dismal world in which the entire show is run by the omnipresent System. The people live in gloomy endless corridors, and they appear here not only devoid of memory, but also completely deprived of their limbs. They are all "volitional nullforms," which is to say they supposedly agreed to this fate. Nobody remembers when or why it happened, but everyone strives to survive at any cost.

However, Elb, a.k.a. number eleven, does not intend to continue leading this miserable existence, and wants to understand why things are the way they are. Having restored order in his native Outskirts, he and his team march ever onwards, destroying their foes and amassing points from the System.

This tenth book concludes the cycle, shedding light on the secret of Elb's fate, as well as many mysteries of the world he finds himself in. In order for this to happen, the hero must reach the Tower and come face to face with the First Higher. But is Elb ready to discover what is capable of upending all his perceptions of this world? And what consequences will there be? Only after listening to the final book of the series will you learn the answers to these questions.
