Summary

Summary

A Publishers Weekly bestseller

A former Delta Force commander, Brad Taylor proves with this breathtaking debut thriller that Vince Flynn and Brad Thor have company. A collection of top operatives, the Taskforce was commissioned by the highest levels of government, kept secret from the media and even Congress. The best of the Taskforce bunch, Pike Logan knows the greatest threat to American security is one or two idealogues. Unfortunately for them, they've just crossed Pike's path.

Editorial Reviews

“An auspicious, adrenaline-soaked rocket ship of a debut novel.” John Lescroart, New York Times bestselling author
“One terrific book...It’s refreshing to read an account, especially a fictional account, that rings true—with the situations, the complications, the reversals, the denouementssuch as those in One Rough Man. Taylor clearly knows of what he writes.” Seattle Post-Intelligencer
“Readers will be clamoring for a sequel, but for now, do not miss this first installment.” Bookreporter.com
“[J. D.] Jackson steals the show with the irrepressible Logan.” AudioFile
“Taylor’s debut flows like the best of Vince Flynn and Brad Thor. An intense and intriguing character, Logan is definitely an action hero to watch.” Booklist
“Taylor, a former Delta Force commander, brings such incredible realism and authenticity that readers feel like they are looking over the shoulders of a real anti-terrorist operation.” Library Journal
