I started a new life in Montana and was fully prepared to leave closed doors shut, but something unexpected happened. I escorted Sydney out to Three Forks for a concert with a couple of my brothers, and there he was—the man I thought I was going to marry.

Asher. He was my first love, and man I loved him religiously. I thought we were going to ride off into the sunset together . . . but life had other plans.
