Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets IT in award winning author Neil Kleid’s latest horror sensation.
Ten years ago, five teenagers found themselves caught in the dark machinations of a twisted toymaker, forced to compete for their lives.
Now, four morally ambiguous young adults attempt revenge on the insane man who terrorized them, and once again find themselves trapped inside his factory of horrors—all while attempting to save the
fifth member of their group, who “won” the contest … and was left behind.
Neil Kleid, a Xeric-award winning, Orthodox Jewish graphic novelist, authored the acclaimed graphic novels Ninety Candles, Brownsville,The Big Kahn,
and Nice Jewish Boys. With the late Alex Nino, Neil adapted Jack London’s novel The Call of The Wild into comics for Penguin Books; did the opposite for the seminal Marvel
Comics’ storyline Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt; co-authored (with Brian Michael Bendis) Powers: The Secret History of Deena Pilgrim; and penned both The Phoenix
Chase, an original X-Men novel, and “Kid Omega Faces the Music", an original X-Men short story for which he was nominated for a 2022 Scribe Award. By day, he works as a digital product
designer and has solved usability challengers for clients such as the Topps Company, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Clarks Shoes, and Girls Scouts of the USA. He currently lives with his wife, kids, dog
and a kosher grill in New Jersey where he juggles a constantly evolving writing plan and roots for Detroit sports teams.
