Summary

Surrounded by Highlander brothers and cousins, Shauna MacLeod is used to big and burly men thinking they're in charge. The visiting American ship captain is a breath of fresh air and a welcome distraction from her daily duties at the MacLeod dock office, even if his past seems to hold more secrets than the sea.

Captain Robert Henderson has his share of complications waiting for him when he returns to New Orleans, so he knows he needs to stay away from Shauna until he's managed to uncomplicate his life, no matter how tempting she is. Her overprotective family certainly helps him keep his distance.
