Summary

The search for the pieces of Charlotte's magical handbook is on, but it's not an easy task.

With all the pages torn out and spread throughout the city, Charlotte, Sir Thomas, and Kat will have to track the pages down one by one. That should be easy, right? Wrong.

The pages are falling into the wrong hands with dark consequences.

But they are finding something on earth they shouldn't be finding—pockets of magic everywhere as well as more and more displaced people and animals from the Ever After.

Meanwhile, Alex is working on a case which shakes him to the core. Someone is replaying the story of Hansel and Gretel. Will the missing children leave behind clues?

Charlotte offers to help and to be closer to Alex. Together they can figure out what's going on with the case—and each other.

Can the unlikely pair track down the magic pages of the handbook, clues about the missing children, and figure out what the Snow Queen is up to before it's too late?
