Summary

Dragons and riders clash in a battle of more than 200 hordesmen. As Trysten watches in horror, the dragon-shifting Originals kidnap one of her hordesmen and closest friends. As they disappear through the Gul Pass, Trysten must use her powers to end the battle instead of rescuing her friend.

When the dust settles, the fallen are accounted for, and the injured are healed, Trysten must decide whether or not to risk an incursion into the West to recover her friend.
