The Man of Wind and Moss

Summary

THE GRAFTING WILL COME.

The Blair Witch Project meets The Cabin in the Woods in this gruesome new folk horror from rising star Alex Gonzalez, about six friends on a weekend getaway—and the supernatural deals they make to survive.

When Marco invites his friends to a wilderness cabin, it’s half party, half kumbaya zillennial new beginning. Disappointed in his family, never feeling quite Puerto Rican enough, frustrated with underpaid shift work, and about to turn thirty, Marco’s ready to take a shot at changing something. Surrounded by nature and his friends—witchy Sasha, impulsive Pansy and her pragmatic sister Doll, alpha-male Dean, and stalled know-it-all-Keith—he’ll set free the truths bottled inside them all.

But Dean has a gun. Pansy’s pregnant. Sasha’s convinced a murderous forest god is stalking them.

Screams and laughter and shots pierce the darkness. Death and madness follow.

The thing they meet in the forest won’t be satisfied unless a deal is struck. Escaping this creature’s curse will lead Marco and his friends on a bloody path of darkest occultism, senseless hedonism, and no remorse.
