Summary

The battle for Rass was on …

… but the outcome was uncertain.

Only grit and fire would decide who won.

Captain Ripley Willis Lee had fought long odds before and prevailed, but this fight was different. In the wake of the largest battle of the war, Lee was recalled to New Eden for a new assignment; a new campaign would support the Tully in a battle along the fringes of the alliance. This time, there would be no help if they ran into trouble.

His task force would be alone.

No one would come to save them.
