Summary

From New York Times bestseller Kevin Hearne, The Silver-Gilt Coffer of Perilous Yearning is a contemporary fantasy in which five friends find a magical artifact that allows them to lead a real-life campaign against inequality and injustice—while proving you should be careful what you wish for.

One thing leads to another, though, and soon they’ve granted one another the powers and abilities of their Wizards & Lizards characters: a wizard, a rogue, a cleric, a druid, and strongman. Determined to do good, they dub themselves the Robbing Hoods and set out to take from the rich and give to the poor.

But the real world doesn’t run as smoothly as a tabletop game, and soon the mob and the US government are hot on their heels …
