Leena Lehtolainen is the author of the Maria Kallio series and the Bodyguard series, which hit the #1 spot on the Finnish bestseller lists. Her books have sold over two million copies worldwide, and rights have been sold in twenty-nine languages. She was born in Vesanto, Finland, to parents who taught language and literature. As a child, she made up stories in her head before she could even write, and at age ten wrote her first book, which was published two years later.
