Jane Bradley is an accomplished writer of both fiction and nonfiction works. She is the author of two acclaimed short-story collections, Are We Lucky Yet? and Power
Lines, which was named a Notable Book by the New York Times Book Review. She has won numerous other awards for her work, including a two prestigious fellowships. Aside from being a
writer, Bradley does a large amount of community service work; she also teaches community workshops at local shelters for women recovering from substance abuse. Ten percent of the proceeds from her
novel You Believers are donated to Community United Effort, an organization that helps search for missing persons. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, she is currently a
professor of creative writing at the University of Toledo.
